Down Down South

Sis and Gav came to NZ for Christmas.
Sis, Gav, Ronald, Calvin & I went down to Queenstown:

  • Te Anau glowworm caves
  • Cromwell for fruits
  • Managed to check out sis great butt
  • Cottage ALL to ourselves on Fernhill
  • White water rafting in Shotover river
  • Sandflies' bites which itch all over
  • Gav wanting to vomit due to too tight a life jacket PLUS heat
  • Luge from Queenstown gondola
  • Practised expressions for photos sake
  • Gas stove with no gas
  • Dish-washer that does not dish wash, but spewed soap all over
  • Baked chips for supper while watching Transformers
  • Ice-cream, gelato, ice-cream!
  • Arrowtown, Chinese settlements
  • Wanaka for lunch and no eels in lake
  • Heat rashes
  • Black and bruised bananas forced eaten by Gav
  • Dad's turkey, lamb, pork ribs and chicken drums for the trip
  • Lake Tekapo
  • Bought cheap cheap fresh salmon from salmon farm
  • Shitting in the public toilet with own toilet paper
  • Calvin pee-ing on a pile of rocks by the roadside, creating a champagne flow
  • Road kill with no maggots
  • Road trip game that involves smelling poo and picking up road kill (operation failed)
  • Plant stuck to the side of the car door
All in all, I think it was an ok trip. Queenstown still looks its best in autumn/winter. Awwww....too bad.
